The Fellowship Team organized and ran the
Holly Presbyterian Church's 2016 Rummage Sale,
which took place the week of May 15. The church members began setting up tables for the sale in the
Fellowship Hall on Sunday, May 15, after worship and stuff kept rolling in through Wednesday.
The organizing and pricing of all of the merchandise is a time consuming, herculean task,
which the Fellowship Team accomplished by putting in six to nine hour work days at the church.
The actual sale began at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, and ran each day through noon on
Saturday, May 21. Saturday afternoon members arrived to begin the clean up and to reorganize the
Fellowship Hall for use on Sunday. Unsold merchandise was donated to Neighbor-to-Neighbor, the local
Seven Day Adventist's Welfare Shop, and Goodwill. The 2016 Rummage sale was very successful,
bringing in over $1,300, which will go to the church’s general fund.
