Holly Presbyterian Church hosts
Presbytery of Lake Huron’s Stated Meeting for September
The Holly Presbyterian Church was pleased to host the Presbytery of Lake Huron for their stated meeting on Tuesday, September 15. Members of the presbytery gathered at 9:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall to register
and
enjoy a light breakfast of coffee and pastry. The meeting opened with prayer in the Sanctuary at 9:30
followed by a worship service. The meeting
then broke into groups to discuss various issues of interest.
The meeting paused for a delicious lunch in Fellowship Hall of barbeque beef brisket, pulled pork, corn bread,
and many other dishes prepared by none other than our own Rev. Chris Thomas.
There was a selection
of desserts including a vegan cottage pie and apple crisp.
The meeting resumed after lunch and was adjourned with prayer at 2:30 p.m. |
